Welcome to KWAZULU-NATAL Safari Lodges
KwaZulu-Natal Safari Lodges plays host to one of the oldest game parks in Africa – the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve.
The Hluhluwe safari reserve is home to the Big 5 and has the largest population of white rhino.
Also known as the Garden Province of South Africa, KwaZulu Natal Safari Lodges enjoy all the beauty and the natural prosperity of its coastal setting.
KwaZulu Natal is a subtropical region of lush and well-watered valleys, washed by the warm Indian Ocean.
With Durban as its main metropolis and the King Shaka International Airport within its borders, KwaZulu Natal is a prime tourist destination which stretches from Port Edward in the south to the borders of Swaziland and Mozambique to the north.
Its western part is marked by the dramatic Drakensberg Mountain Range, with several peaks well over 3000 metres.
The Drakensberg Mountains has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status for its dramatic natural beauty and the wealth of San Bushman art found in its caves – the richest concentration on the African continent.
The sheer variety of plant and animal species that have KwaZulu-Natal Safari Lodges as their natural habitat are a must for travellers from all over the world.
In KwaZulu-Natal alone, there is an impressive variety of safari lodges in game reserves and safari parks, as well as bush camps, tented lodges, river lodges and even self-catering suites.
Few regions of the world can match the extraordinary beauty and diversity of KwaZulu-Natal Province in South Africa.
From the Drakensberg Mountains, to the unspoiled Indian Ocean beaches, from coral reefs to golf courses, from craft shops to spice markets, rhinos to whales, battlefields to beaches, KwaZulu-Natal seem to have it all.
